It is the objective of this committee to promote a better understanding about both our U.S. and State of Idaho heritage and right to privately own and possess firearms. The committee will accomplish this objective through the education of our citizens to be better informed and aware of any attempt to eliminate, modify, or change the content or intent of this amendment or to take away or penalize us for owning firearms and our right to defend our family, our property, and ourselves.
